Between July 6 and 7, 2017, the course “Basic Uses of Programming Software in Advanced Statistics R and RStudio” was held in Valparaíso by Jhon Gajardo and for professors of the Faculty of Education of the Catholic University of the Santísima Concepción de Chile – UCSC. At that time, the students internalized themselves with the essential concepts to work in R and RStudio, which they later used in the analysis and processing of the data in statistical terms, as well as in the generation of graphical visualizations of the same ones. At the end of the course the students expressed their satisfaction with the content and learning of the course, indicating further that “now we can communicate with R”. “
